Evaluation of the Water for all initiative

The 6th Sustainable Development Goal is “Clean Water & Sanitation”. Access to clean water for all is a key component of sustainable development and a necessity for life on our planet (there is a reason it is called the blue one!).

This spring, Beyond Intent travelled to India and Kenya to evaluate Atlas Copco’s Water for all initiative. Water for all is an employee volunteer programme of the Swedish multinational corporations Atlas Copco and Epiroc. Since the 1980s, Water for all has reached millions of people with small scale water and sanitation projects. Selected project sites in India and Kenya were visited. The pictures below are from Mwingi, Kitui County, Kenya, and Baleghar, Satara District, India.
