Leveraging Social Impact

Today, BI partner Johan Genneby participated in a panel discussion on the theme of Leveraging Social Impact to Create the Company of the Future hosted by The Amahoro Coalition. It focused on the future of African corporate social responsibility and the role of the private sector in creating value in underserved markets in Africa.

Prioritizing positive social change has been on the rise recently, with companies engaging more and more with strategies that contribute to the societies they operate in. Social change goals and strategies create a more systematic, sustainable, and innovative approach to creating public value. Companies are therefore shifting their approaches and making strategic moves, focused on adding value to the societies they engage with through their businesses.

At the event, private sector executives from across the continent will share insights from their companies on the potential of creating value by championing access to dignified economic opportunities for forcibly displaced persons.
